I’m sure that you have seen that California was making the national news last week for rainfall. Pictured below is one of the flower beds adjacent to our home in Palm Desert.
DROWNING FLOWERS
There is a golf course just outside of our back door. The picture below is supposed to be a fairway!
YOU NEED A BOAT FOR THIS FAIRWAY
The rains created an extra water hazard on the fairway. The Bob Hope tournament was cancelled for a day, the first time in 30 years!
DUCKS IN A POND
The rains created road closures, leaks in roofs (ours included) and a wonderful fresh coat of new snow on the adjacent mountains in the desert.
FRESH SNOW ON THE MOUNTAINS
The snow created its own issues. Closed the road to Big Bear, and left 95 people stranded on top of the Palm Springs Tramway.
