I usually have my camera close because you never know when you might need it. Suzie and I went out to buy some more parts (mostly electrical) for our condo this afternoon. I told her that I forgot my camera and I should go back and get it. You don’t need it was her comment we’re just going to be right back.
Oh those famous words – – – . On the way home we saw police personnel and fire truck everywhere. There was a light plane crash right beside us. A student pilot and an instructor lost power in their light plane and had to land it in a lot right beside the road. Pilots will tell you that any landing you can walk away from is a good landing. Both were transported to a local hospital with some broken bones, and the plane is I’m sure a loss. It wasn’t a slide it in landing, it looked like it hit pretty hard.
